- What is your greatest strength and how do you know?
I think my greatest strength is being very detail-oriented and comprehensive while also being kindhearted and compassionate. Those are things that relate to the results of my Pairin survey, things that I work on, and also things that people tend to comment on. If you are aware of others' feelings and needs and can act accordingly, while also providing an environment (interpersonally as well as physically) that is conducive to others' being at ease, it not only supports your community and helps build strong connections, but also provides for a lot of warmheartedness and helps people show up as the best they can!
- How do you work best?
I tend to work best with very clear-set goals and standards, in an environment where I have open access to a good set of tools and information.
- What is your greatest area of improvement?
I think my greatest area of improvement is learning to be more confident and to share things in a forthright way without second-guessing myself and falling into a lot of anxiety and worry.
- How do you hope to maximize your strengths for your new career in software development?
I hope to learn the ins and outs of everything really well, so that I know exactly what to do and when, and how to most efficiently identify what I don't know and how to fill in those gaps.
- How might knowing about your strengths and working preferences benefit you as a software developer?
Being able to maximize my detail-oriented style will, I think, help me to build software that works efficiently and powerfully, while also anticipating the needs and preferences of the target audience. I think, according to the results of my survey, that I will work well on a team, that I will be adaptable to the needs of the group and that I will be able to meet those needs in a focused way. Being able to capitalize on those strenths while also working on becoming more flexible and less timid and self-doubting/anxious will not only help me be successful at work, but will also help me to take better care of my friends, family, and community, and have a better experience overall!
