makes 6 extra large muffins
- 2 cups wheat bran
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.5 cups of sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup of raisins
- teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 cup sunflower oil
- 1.5 cups of milk

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Line the muffin-tin with butter

Mix the dry ingredients together, excluding the raisins.

Add first the oil, then the milk, mixing throughout.

Add a small amount of extra milk if required.

Mix in the raisins.

Spoon the batter (which should be quite thick in consistency) into the tray

bake for 30 minutes.
