          <complete>
              Coverage of this dataset includes the northern coastline of Alaska from Demarcation Point in the east to just past Point Hope in the west.  The coverage includes coastal areas and barrier island and inland areas to approximately 20Km from the coast.

                  <procdesc>
                      This data set consists of a set of orthorectified image tiles processed from scans generated by the USGS of historic aerial imagery from the AHAP program.  Orthorectification was performed 
                      using Agisoft Photoscan Professional (www.agisoft.com), a commercial structure from motion (SfM) processing system.  The imagery were output at 
                      the highest resolution possible given the quality and resolution of the original scans.  In most cases this was approximately 1.5m ground spatial distance.
                      Ground control was provided by matching features in the historic imagery to features in modern imagery provided by the SDMI program or the USGS DOQQ images.  The data are 
                      provided as a set of tiles in UPDATE projection.  The definition of these areas can be found in the project final report.
