Hello all,
For a number of reasons, I've recently set up a new OpenPGP key, and
will be transitioning away from my old one.
I prefer all future correspondence to come to my new key. I would also like
this new key to be re-integrated into the web of trust. This message is signed
by both keys to certify the transition.
If you have signed my old key, I would appreciate your signatures on my new
key as well, provided that's permitted by your signing policy.
The old key, which I am transitioning away from, is:
pub 2048R/0xF694315ECC6F7136 2012-02-03
Key fingerprint = 46F3 79F6 FDB4 8772 E568 32A2 F694 315E CC6F 7136
uid [ unknown] Daniel Farrell <[email protected]>
sub 2048R/0x46C4C2B02AEBD82A 2012-02-03
And the new key is:
pub 4096R/0x68278E9F1B39C892 2013-10-20 [expires: 2015-10-20]
Key fingerprint = DD0F 243C 9EA0 3EEB 0471 D0C0 6827 8E9F 1B39 C892
uid Daniel Farrell <[email protected]>
sub 4096R/0xCD5CCE80F67C4FF8 2013-10-20 [expires: 2015-10-20]
sub 4096R/0xFB4DE40386D808BE 2013-10-20 [expires: 2015-10-20]
To fetch the new key from a public key server using GnuPG, run:
gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-key 0x68278E9F1B39C892
If you have already validated my old key, you can then validate that the
new key is signed by my old key:
gpg --check-sigs 0x68278E9F1B39C892
If you are satisfied that you've got the right key, and the UIDs match
what you expect, I'd appreciate if you would sign my new key.
You can sign the key by using gpg, then send the signatures to a public
keyserver directly:
gpg --sign-key 0x68278E9F1B39C892
gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --send-key 0x68278E9F1B39C892
Please let me know if there is any trouble, and sorry for the
inconvenience.
Thanks,
Daniel Farrell
