- $$$ Tarry Lodge: Good Italian food. Supposedly there's actually a lot of Italian places, but I haven't been to all of them.
- $$$ Zinc: Favorite restaurant in NH. It's just really, really good food. Their lunch menu is surprisingly decently priced and almost the same thing as dinner.
- $ Prime 16: Burgers - get the Honey Truffle burgers.
- $$ Rubamba: Mexican food - try their arepa dishes. They also have a food cart on the corner of York and Elm - simple but delicious!
- $$$ Barcelona: Spanish tapas - everything is great. I especially like the Tuna Carpaccio.
- $$ Da Legna: Italian food - haven't tried their pizza but everyone raves about them. Their other food is also really good, like the pasta.
- $$ Taste of China: Chinese food, best in NH (but if you have a car, there are more authentic places close by). You should probably take me with you ;), since it's Chinese food and obviously I'm the expert.
- $$$ Heirloom: Amazing food. Probably equal first rank. They have incredible brunches (smoked salmon bagels), and their dinner menu is also great.
Don't go to:
- Union League
- Olea
I don't know too much about the various offerings in NH, as I haven't tried them all, but from what I've had:
- $ Bar: My favorite pizza place. Mashed potatos all the way.
- $$ Modern: Supposedly this is really good, but I haven't been before.
- Ashley's Ice Cream: Ice Cream for when it's too hot. I just tried their Hard Frozen Yoghurt - delicious!
- Maison: Pastries to die for.
- Go Greenly FroYo: Free Topping Tuesday - enough said.
- Sushi Palace: Best all you can eat sushi on the planet, for the price.
- Iron Chef: Very authentic Taiwanese food. Cash only, and it's very local, so you'd probably need to bring a Chinese person along (pick me, pick me!).
