Thanks for this. I suspect this isn't really meant to be publicly consumable, but since I found it invaluable, I'll provide a few comments:

• The CentOS 6.2 distro I am using didn't have make, so I had to add sudo yum install make
• The proxy arguments aren't applicable
• EPEL moved to http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x86_64/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm
