- Laptop
- Make sure your IDE and OS is up to date. Hackathons with a lot of people don't always have the best Wi-Fi.
- Phone
- Headphones
- Preferably ANC. Hackathons can get loud.
- ID (regardless if you're flying or not)
- Note: REAL ID if you're in flying within US and/or Passport if you're not).
- Chargers for your laptop, phone, and headphones
- Powerbank (I suggest 20,000 mAH or more)
- Pencil/Pen
- Backpack
- Pillow
- Sleeping bag or blanket
- Eyemask
- Pajamas
- Earplugs
- I've been to some hackathons which have a lot of talking and lights through the night. Bring both.
- Plane Ticket
- If you fly every couple of months, I'd suggest TSA PreCheck. Best thing ever.
- Extension cord
- Deodorant
- Extra clothes
