Guiding Questions to Define The Relationship:
We need to use github for majority of all communication!
How do you communicate best? How do you appreciate receiving communication from others?
Slack is great. We will try our best to keep all code reviews, sprint updates, and project related info on github.
How would you describe your work style?
Flexible, we will work based on what the project needs. Aurie may work remote.
What are each of our strengths?
Eric: More than just Sound effects. Sejin: debugging, quick learner, optimistic. Djavan: !CSS, picking up new technologies. Aurie: Picking up new skills, very quick learner.
What’s gone well or poorly in your previous projects?
Poor planning. Bad communication.
How will we set direction and make decisions as a team?
Making decisions together, daily standups would be very ideal.
How will we overcome obstacles?
Working through issues together. Constant line of communication. Manage work time wisely!
What do you need (resources, environment, communication) to do your best work?
Open lines of communication.
What scheduling restraints do you have? What are your scheduling preferences?
No one will be here past 6:30. Weekends will most likely be remote.
What is your style for giving feedback? Does anything ever hold you back from giving feedback?
I think we all want to have open communication. Honest, kind, actionable.
What tools do you want to use to manage the project? Github projects.
How do you want the group to solve problems when members run into issues with features of the project? Working it out through github issues, and keeping a constant flow of communication through github.
How do you know if a project is successful? How can we achieve that as a group?
Once we have our MVP sorted out. We will make our MVP VERY clear.
How will we recognize each other's successes and celebrate them?
By allowing everyone to have the room to learn the technologies that they're excited to dive into.
