Useful Spacemacs commands

SPC q q - quit
SPC w / - split window vertically
SPC w - - split window horizontally
SPC 1 - switch to window 1
SPC 2 - switch to window 2
SPC w c - delete current window
SPC TAB - switch to previous buffer
SPC b b - switch buffers

Layers

Layers are enabled by adding the layer identifier to the dotspacemacs-configuration-layers variable in the .spacemacs file.

Additional variables can be passed to the layout using the following format: (layer-identifier :variables variable-one value variable-two value)

Flask + uWSGI + nginx Primer

I've been having trouble with serving a Flask app via uWSGI and nginx, so I thought I'd put together some of the basics to help out others.

How this shit works

Flask is managed by uWSGI.
uWSGI talks to nginx.

mkdir -p /usr/local/etc/nginx/sites-{enabled,available}
cd /usr/local/etc/nginx/sites-enabled
ln -s ../sites-available/default.conf
ln -s ../sites-available/default-ssl.conf

File locations:

nginx.conf to /usr/local/etc/nginx/
default.conf and default-ssl.conf to /usr/local/etc/nginx/sites-available
homebrew.mxcl.nginx.plist to /Library/LaunchDaemons/
