GoPro to iPad

Note: use iPad not iPhone, as the GoPro software compresses footage destined for the latter. Use the iPad in landscape layout else it seems to think that it's a phone.

  1. Plug GoPro & iPad into power sources, if either runs out of juice the download will fail
  2. Connect to GoPro
  3. Camera icon top left
  4. Click grid icon
  5. Tick checkbox icon
  6. Select videos to copy
  7. Click download icon
  8. Video is saved to Albums > GoPro albums

To backup remotely:

  1. Open Dropbox App
  2. Navigate to India folder
    • -> Upload Photos -> Choose videos in GoPro albums

To backup externally:

Use 1TB external drive via HooToo.
