GPS to GoPro

Note: As a workaround to (3), I've created this Google sheet: "India videos - Real recording times".

  1. Record an iPhone video while recording the GoPro video
  2. Dump GoPro footage to iPad using camera connection kit
  3. Time shift the GoPro video -7.5 hours using iPhone Date Calculator App and iPad HashPhotos, to fix continuity between iPhone GPS tagged videos and GP footage. This changes the Date Created when viewed in Windows 10, and the 'Date' when copied to Windows 10. But the Photos app shows a Date Taken which is the wrong original non offset time And after opening in photos the 'Date' also shows the wrong time. :(
  4. Airdrop iPhone videos to iPad
  5. Delete iPhone videos from iPhone
  6. Copy the location from the iPhone video using HashPhotos
  7. Paste the location to the GoPro video
  8. Take a still from the GoPro video using HashPhotos or Video 2 Photo (larger file)
