Hi, dear Dr.Doug Latornell, thank for sharing the code and present very clear example plots. I am using the same method to gain the vertical modes (which is 'pmodes' in this code ) of the equatorial Indian ocean. I have a question, is there barotropic mode within the results of this computation? I will be grateful if you could give me some suggestion. Thank you in advance. Best regards, Qingwen

The barotropic mode 0 has uniform vertical pressure anomaly.
