Letters to Cal AD Jim Knowlton re FTX

My letter to AD Jim Knowlton and Chancellor Carol Christ, Sept 21, 2021

Dear Chancellor Christ and Athletic Director Knowlton (care of his executive assistant Jane Jackson),

I’m a proud Cal alum (BA, Computer Science, 1994) and a long-time football season ticket holder. The traditions and integrity of the university are very important to me, and are the main source of that pride.

Accepting sponsorship from cryptocurrency trading firm FTX US puts that integrity at risk.

While cryptocurrencies have seemingly become mainstream, they represent a major threat to our criminal justice system, our economy, and the environment.
