| Tonight we will be discussing the current state of censorship and | |
| surveillance in Spain. Hear from various Spaniards about the alarmingly | |
| laws and changes sweeping Spain. | |
| Spain’s proposed new public security law, Ley Mordaza, will bring back | |
| chilling changes, including allowing: | |
| - Police to have black lists for alternative press, activists and | |
| protestors, and perform external bodily searches at their discretion; | |
| - Government to prohibit any protest if it is deemed that public order | |
| will be disrupted. Demonstrations must be formalized by the state, and | |
| cannot be performed outside government buildings. | |
| - Arrest or fine for recording, photographing or publishing pictures or | |
| videos of the police. | |
