Friends,
When saying the name "lets fix dot net" out loud, the first impression it gives off hasn't been what I was hoping for. The intonation comes off more aggressive than necessary. Too forceful.
The name Let's Fix may still have a place one day... but in a slightly different role. Focused on solutions, perhaps.
But is it worth going back a stage? Before action, we can just try to observe the problem. To be present. To try to diagnose what's going on.
What about this name....?
Here's a basic idea:
- Anyone can create a problem page, instantly & for free, for anything they care about. You can do this from any computer, or a phone.
- Anyone else can "join in" that problem page, by clicking "I care about this issue". Who else cares? Who is supportive? Sympathetic? How many people are there? Maybe they want to receive reminders about this.
- The Problem Page is dedicated to info about that particular problem. It's a wiki, so anyone can add to it. (The author can choose to manually approve edits.)
- It can be a place for lots of people to work together to explain things like: what's the problem? who's affected? how long has this been going on? is there research? have attempts been made to address this problem? are there related problems?
