This is a private, non-commercial, self-hosted tool operated by a single individual (the "Operator") to retrieve and analyse the Operator's own bank account data via the Enable Banking API. It is not offered as a service to anyone else and has no users other than the Operator.
With the Operator's explicit consent, the application retrieves from the Operator's own bank accounts:
- Account details (account identifiers, names, currency)
- Balances
- Transaction history (dates, amounts, counterparties, references)
No data belonging to any person other than the Operator is deliberately collected. Counterparty names appearing in the Operator's own transaction history are processed only as an inherent part of that history.
Data is used solely for the Operator's personal financial analysis (budgeting, categorisation, reporting). It is not used for marketing, profiling of third parties, or any commercial purpose.
Retrieved data is stored locally on a private server controlled by the Operator, protected by standard access controls (SSH key authentication, file permissions). API credentials are stored in local configuration files readable only by the Operator's account.
Data is not sold, shared, or transferred to any third party. The only external party involved is Enable Banking (the authorised account information service provider), whose own privacy policy governs its processing.
Data is retained only as long as useful for the Operator's personal analysis and may be deleted by the Operator at any time. Bank consent can be revoked at any time via the bank or by deleting the authorisation, after which no further data is retrieved.
