thoughts from MV

short story start

The night sky used to have constellations, which though they moved with the slow rotation of the world, lacked the spectacle that was our chaotic 20 person celestial pinball match of streaming satellites.

  • earth as prison world, satellites were surveillance?
  • we didn't make it, satellites are a remnant? new dark age-- rediscovery of solar power of fuel. fault line destroyed servers in california, rearchitecture of solar panel power?

thoughts

i wonder how many other people just saw that shooting star. its 2 am on the east coast. who's up? let alone looking at the exact part of the sky that I was just loking at, and in a place where they could see that night-sky-phenomenon? maybe I was the only one.
