  • hike lands end
  • rent a bike and ride over the golden gate to saulsolito (grab a glass of wine at Barrel house)
  • if you're into coffee, fourbarrel and st. franks are my favorites, sightglass is gorgeous though
  • baker beach (if the weather's good-- i went swimming last weekend)
  • dolores park on the weekend is a blast
  • the japanese tea garden in golden gate park has free admission tuesday and thursday before 10 (i think)
  • 9th floor of the de young museum has an awesome observatory (and it's free!)
  • hiking up corona heights, then walking down into the haight is fun
  • exploratorium! (first thursdays of the month are adult nights)
  • the science center has +21 events every wednesday (maybe thursday?) that are always a good time
  • dogpatch boulders, if you like climbing (mission cliffs is also a great time)
