This position will also be responsible for assembling permit applications for the construction of electrical substations, and manage them through the permitting process to final permit acquisition.\nJob Title: Sr. Permitting Specialist\nLocation: Lake Mary, FL\nResponsibilities Include:</p>\n\n<p>Provide site development support to gain local construction permitting for electrical substation projects within Duke Energy Florida territory. This role will work closely with the substation engineering team.\nMinimum Qualifications</p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>A graduate from a college or university with a bachelor degree in science, engineering or other related field of study.</li>\n<li>Minimum of 7 years of experience</li>\n<li>Job experience in evaluating local zoning ordinances, land development codes and building permit requirements in Florida.</li>\n<li>Experience (3-5 years) in gaining zoning and construction permits in Florida.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Preferred Qualifications</p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient in gaining site development construction permits in Florida.</li>\n<li>Experience working for an electric utility.</li>\n<li>Professional Engineer, Planner, Landscape Architect.</li>\n</ul>\n",
