Only 2.5 acres of land. Only 4 years old as of now, and getting their first harvest just now.
Very dry, a slighty sour aroma to start. A little acid, but still very good. Grapes from Demascus.
Still a bit of an acid smell, a acidy body with a little bit of pepper/bitter to it as well. More taste than the Seval. Grapes are from California.
2011 Hurricane, grapes stayed on the vines a little longer, and were turned into Rose
Snells like a strawberry jelly, but not nearly as sweet as it smells. Dry, but with a nice simple tart finish. We all can't envision what we would eat with this wine, but we generally like it.
Vineyard in northern Carrol County, Silver Run, Copernecus Vineyard. Served along dark chocolate.
Slightly fruity aroma, not too strong, not much other than fruit. Semi-sweet, semi-tart taste. Decent, when compared to most of the others.
Grapes from up on the hill?
A slightly bitter (not bad) & sour taste, without a lot of body to it.
Port-style wine. Blend of Cab Franc/Cab Sav/ Sangiovese. 5% res. sugar, up to 19% alcohol, with grape spirits.
Nice round smell, nice round flavor. Unblanced towards being strong, not an even or balanced taste.
Alissa still likes this enough that she's thinking of getting an additional bottle.
