Install elastic search on Ubuntu 14.04

### Install default-jre | |
sudo apt-get update | |
sudo apt-get install default-jre | |
### Check http://www.elasticsearch.org/download/ for latest version of ElasticSearch and replace wget link below | |
wget https://download.elasticsearch.org/elasticsearch/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-1.7.1.deb | |
sudo dpkg -i elasticsearch-1.7.1.deb | |
### NOT starting elasticsearch by default on bootup, please execute | |
sudo update-rc.d elasticsearch defaults 95 10 | |
### In order to start elasticsearch, execute | |
sudo /etc/init.d/elasticsearch start | |
#To test it all worked: | |
#curl http://localhost:9200 | |
#Should return some JSON Object including the version number | |
# plugin | |
cd /usr/share/elasticsearch/ | |
# install cloud aws 2.5.0 | |
sudo bin/plugin install elasticsearch/elasticsearch-cloud-aws/2.5.0 | |
# install jdbc 1.5.0.5 | |
sudo bin/plugin --install jdbc --url http://xbib.org/repository/org/xbib/elasticsearch/plugin/elasticsearch-river-jdbc/1.5.0.5/elasticsearch-river-jdbc-1.5.0.5-plugin.zip | |
# install head | |
sudo bin/plugin --install mobz/elasticsearch-head | |
# install bigdesk | |
sudo bin/plugin --install lukas-vlcek/bigdesk | |
# install http-basic 1.4.0 | |
cd /usr/share/elasticsearch/plugins | |
sudo mkdir http-basic | |
cd http-basic | |
