Install elastic search on Ubuntu 14.04
cd ~
### Install default-jre
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install default-jre
### Check http://www.elasticsearch.org/download/ for latest version of ElasticSearch and replace wget link below
wget https://download.elasticsearch.org/elasticsearch/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-1.7.1.deb
sudo dpkg -i elasticsearch-1.7.1.deb
### NOT starting elasticsearch by default on bootup, please execute
sudo update-rc.d elasticsearch defaults 95 10
### In order to start elasticsearch, execute
sudo /etc/init.d/elasticsearch start
#To test it all worked:
#curl http://localhost:9200
#Should return some JSON Object including the version number
# plugin
cd /usr/share/elasticsearch/
# install cloud aws 2.5.0
sudo bin/plugin install elasticsearch/elasticsearch-cloud-aws/2.5.0
# install jdbc 1.5.0.5
sudo bin/plugin --install jdbc --url http://xbib.org/repository/org/xbib/elasticsearch/plugin/elasticsearch-river-jdbc/1.5.0.5/elasticsearch-river-jdbc-1.5.0.5-plugin.zip
# install head
sudo bin/plugin --install mobz/elasticsearch-head
# install bigdesk
sudo bin/plugin --install lukas-vlcek/bigdesk
# install http-basic 1.4.0
cd /usr/share/elasticsearch/plugins
sudo mkdir http-basic
cd http-basic
sudo wget https://github.com/Asquera/elasticsearch-http-basic/releases/download/v1.4.0/elasticsearch-http-basic-1.4.0.jar
