Fabric alternatives for recommanded and common mods on MCO for future versions.

Mods

Once MCO updates, I will try to create a modpack for all these mods.

Feel free to propose other solutions in the comments.

Many of these mods require the Fabric API (Modrinth).

OptiFine

On the optimization side

• Sodium (changes the rendering engine): Modrinth
• Sodium Extra (adds other features from OptiFine): Modrinth
  • I recommand Reese's Sodium Options that gives a prettier option menu for Sodium and Sodium Extra (Modrinth)
• Phosphor (light optimization, only for 1.20 and under): Modrinth
• (Lithium is useless as it is only useful server side or on singleplayer.)
  • In addition, I recommand EntityCulling (Modrinth),

On the texture side (MCO resource pack etc)

• Continuity (allows for the same connected textures as OptiFine): Modrinth
  • Requires installation of Indium (Modrinth).
• CIT Resewn (makes items in the MCO resource pack which are dependent on the name of the item possible): Modrinth
• Iris (allows for the same kind of shaders as OptiFine): Modrinth

On the zoom side

• Logical Zoom (gives the exact same functionalities as the Optifine Zoom): Modrinth
• WI Zoom (my favourite, gives a zoom that is configurable with the scrolling wheel): Modrinth

Inventory Tweaks

A similar mod exists for recent versions on Fabric, called Inventory Control Tweaks (Modrinth).

NamedHeads and Emoji by 14mRh4X0r

No equivalents exist for recent versions to my knowledge.

Macro / Keybind Mod

No version is available for recent versions. An equivalent that allows for the same macros is JSMacros (CurseForce) but it is in no way retrocompatible.

TabbyChat

No equivalent exists for recent versions to my knowledge.

MiniMap mods

JourneyMap

JourneyMap is completely compatible with Fabric (Modrinth).

Xaeros's Minimap/Worldmap

Xaero's Minimap is completely compatible with Fabric (Modrinth) aswell as Xaero's Worldmap (Modrinth).

Schematica

Litematica is a retrocompatible mod with Schematica that allows the same functionality for newer versions: CurseForge.

• This mod requires MaLiLib (CurseForge).

ColorUtility

The original mod is available up to 1.18 on Fabric (CurseForge). No alternatives exist for versions past it to my knowledge.

AntiGhost

AntiGhost is completely compatible with Fabric (CurseForge).

NBT Tooltip Mod

NBT Tooltip Mod is completely compatible with Fabric (Modrinth)
