From National Council for Preservation Education – Membership Standards:
Consistent with the Council’s belief in diversity, it should be noted that these elements or suggested standards are intended as minimum guidelines for preservation programs that lead to a graduate or undergraduate degree, and are not intended as a curriculum model.

National Council on Public History: Best Practices in Public History – Public History for Undergraduate Students
Best practices document prepared by the NCPH Curriculum and Training Committee (October 2009); adopted by the NCPH Board of Directors (October 2009). From the document:
Below are some recommendations for undergraduate public history “programs” that are flexible. These recommendations should provide guidelines but should not be followed as a recipe for a “one-size fits all” approach to introducing undergraduates to public history. Undergraduate training in public history should be designed around the local resources available, the unique interests of department faculty, and the needs of the students. Undergraduate programs that offer public history should keep the following four basic priorities in mind: (1) Provide students with strong training in the basic skills of the historian; (2) Provide students with a solid grounding in historical content; (3) Introduce students early in their studies to the wide variety of careers that incorporate some component of public history; and (4) Encourage students to participate in field-based research, service learning, and/or internships.
I've been experimenting with using Palladio to visualize data that I've assembled in Google Sheets but I'd like something dynamic that I can share. I'm looking at D3.js as one possibility but I don't know how to get the data into the right format. I'm hoping to try using Gephi so I can go from Google Sheets 👉 Gephi 👉 D3.js. Here are a few related links that I'll be going through when I have time for them:
