I recently had major surgery that requires I stay prone for long periods while I recover.
Here's what I ordered, at the suggestion of an ergonomics specialist, to be able to work from a prone position.
- A bolster: you need more support than a pile of pilows, and to raise your knee.
- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JMN5GWI/ (this ships in one smallish box, yay for vacuum packing)
- Laptop table: so you aren't looking down at it and messing up your neck

- A lap board, to hold your keyboard and mouse.
- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013TSVO2C/ (the name of the brand is attrotious, but at least it's big enough for my Kinesis keyboard and a mouse.)
- An ergonomic keyboard
