This replaces the pre-amp and the usb adapter.

Mount the arm better

The mounts for most mic arms are pressure mounts. I've found them less than pleasant. I got my hands on a pipe nipple and floor flange. Screwed those into my desk and inserted the arm into that. Took some sanding on the arm to fit, but works great. It will depend on your mic arm, but mine was 5/8s
