How would we add something here to also add SSL to the image? And I feel stupid for even asking, but how does WordPress run if the only folder in the image is wp-content?

Hmm maybe an easier route would be to add an nginx image, and enable SSL via that route

Please don't feel stupid. Not a dumb question at all. I like to think of Docker images as NES cartridges. You plug the ones into your compose file that you want to make use of. When you pull down each "cartridge", it sets up it's own file structure within Docker which it self-serves (in the case of WordPress) via a built-in support for the Apache web server. Hope that helps!
