The 2015 edition of DjangoCon Europe, the biggest event in the international Django community’s calendar, will be held in Cardiff (Wales) 2nd-7th June.

We’re putting a huge emphasis on diversity and accessibility at this event, to encourage more women and members of other minorities in the field to attend and submit proposals for talks.

We’ve also taken the unusual step of opening registration only to members of under-represented groups for the first month: <http://2015.djangocon.eu/news/registration-opens/>.

Other measures we’re taking include offering a free crèche, holding a DjangoGirls event on our open day and having a designated quiet room. 

We're determined that this will be the most diverse and most accessible Django/Python conference ever.

DjangoCon will be in Cardiff, Wales. Early bird tickets are £225 (individual)/£300 (corporate)/£150 (student) - so we hope it’s also going to be the most affordable DjangoCon ever too. On top of this, financial assistance and reduced price tickets will be available to people on low budgets.

I hope you can help us get the message out, especially to the people and groups who are not already on our radar or who are not already in Django community circles, and to encourage them to help us meet our aims by taking part in the event.

Um unserem Willen einer vielfältigeren Konferenz Nachdruck zu verleihen, haben wir uns für den ungewöhnlichen Schritt entschieden, den Ticketverkauf für alle Minderheiten einen Monat vor dem regulären Verkaufsstart zu öffnen: <http://2015.djangocon.eu/news/registration-opens/>

Besucherinnen und Besucher mit Kindern bieten wir eine kostenlose Kinderbetreuung [für Kinder bis 14 Jahre]*. Am Ersten Tag wird außerdem ein DjangoGirls-Workshop in einem eigenen Raum stattfinden.

Die Konferenz findet in Cardiff in Wales (Großbritannien) statt. Die Tickets kosten 225 £ für Privatpersonen, 300 £ für Firmen und 150 £ für Studenten. Damit wird die Konferenz zur günstigsten DjangoCon Europe. Darüber hinaus werden wir ein Programm zur finanziellen Unterstützung und zusätzliche reduzierte Tickets für Personen mit niedrigem Einkommen anbieten.
