Scrambled Eggs in a Mug

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: shredded cheese, chopped vegetables, or cooked bacon

Instructions:

  1. Crack the eggs into a microwave-safe mug.
  2. Add milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk with a fork until well mixed.
  3. Stir in any optional ingredients.
  4. Microwave on high for 45 seconds.
  5. Stir, then microwave for another 30–45 seconds until fully cooked.
  6. Let it sit for 1 minute before eating.

Microwave Mac and Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

  1. Combine macaroni and water in a large microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Microwave on high for 2–3 minutes. Stir and continue microwaving in 1-minute intervals until pasta is tender (about 6–7 minutes total).
  3. Add milk and cheese. Stir well.
  4. Microwave for another 30 seconds to melt cheese.
  5. Stir again and let cool for a minute before serving.

Microwave Mug Brownie

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Optional: chocolate chips or nuts

Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients in a microwave-safe mug until smooth.
  2. Microwave on high for 1 minute.
  3. Check consistency. Microwave for 15–30 more seconds if needed.
  4. Let cool for a couple of minutes before eating.

Microwave Baked Potato

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium russet potato
  • Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon bits

Instructions:

  1. Scrub the potato clean and poke holes all over with a fork.
  2. Microwave on high for 5 minutes.
  3. Flip the potato and microwave for another 4–5 minutes.
  4. Let it rest for a minute.
  5. Cut open and add desired toppings.

Microwave Veggie Steamer

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped mixed vegetables (e.g., carrots, broccoli, bell peppers)
  • 1–2 tbsp water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Place vegetables in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add water and cover loosely with a microwave-safe lid or plate.
  3. Microwave on high for 2–4 minutes until veggies are tender.
  4. Drain excess water, season, and serve.
