Yealink T20 VoIP phone setup notes

Instruction manual

Use phone menu button then 1 to get IP address
navigate with web browser
there are 2 users called user and admin (default passwords user and admin!)

AAISP VoIP setup

navigate to the Account tab
- server: voiceless.aa.net.uk
- port: 5060

Configure phone lock

navigate to Features then Phone Lock
set Keypad lock type to All keys
set a timeout
long-press # to lock

Disable Direct IP (SPIT) calls

navigate to Features then General Information
Set Allow IP Call to Disabled
Press Confirm button

Custom ringtone

T20 requires .WAV files < 100kb
WAV format must be "A-Law"
can make with Audacity
ensure that your track is mono before exporting (if stereo use "Tracks > Mix > Mix Stereo Track to Mono")
set the Project Rate to 8000 (8 kHz) before exporting (bottom left corner of the main window)
export with the "Other uncompressed files" option and select A-Law
