Restart Mac OS X coreaudio daemon. Useful if you cannot change the audio output device to Airplay.

Worked for me, in M2 PRO 14", pc could sense the jack but audio was not coming, got fixed after the command
sudo killall coreaudiod AirPlayXPCHelper
