QuietSense for Noise Anxiety ("QuietSense", "we", "our", or "the app") helps people understand household sound levels without recording conversations.
QuietSense does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location.
The app uses the microphone to estimate sound level in dBA. Raw audio is not saved, uploaded, or transcribed. QuietSense stores only local summaries needed for app features, such as measured sound level, risk state, selected room type, selected activity, timing, and report summaries.
Stored summaries are used to show live monitoring, reports, settings, and noise guidance inside the app. They are stored on your device unless a future version clearly adds an optional sync or backup feature.
QuietSense Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share microphone audio, sound summaries, or report data with advertisers or data brokers.
Report summaries remain on your device until you delete them in the app or remove the app from your device.
The app relies on Apple services for App Store purchases and subscription status. Apple's privacy practices apply to those services.
QuietSense is not a legal sound meter, medical device, safety device, or substitute for professional mental health, acoustic, legal, or building advice.
We may update this policy as the app changes. The updated version will be linked from the app and App Store listing.
For privacy questions, contact the developer through the support contact listed on the QuietSense App Store page.
