Backyard

  1. Trim all the stuff

The next part will be a bigger piece of task. It's a huge ass backyard. A lot of stuff that's occupying the garden. There five overgrown living things in the backyard.

  • 2 flowering bushes

  • 2 green bushes

  • 1 overgrown tree

It will take time to trim all those stuff and all the trimmings must be disposed somewhere. I really need a green bin to chuck all those stuff in.

  1. Start sectioning the remaining backyard.

I reckon there are atleast three sections to work on in the backyard.

  • The long alley full of dried weeds

  • The foresty area where 4/5 shrubs live. This will be challenging because it's hard to get in and out of that area.

  • The unknown -- that's the back part of the yard where I really haven't been -- ever! Makes me shudder just thinking about it. I don't want to see snakes!

There'll be a lot of work a head of me. I'll take it one weekend at a time. I think it's worth doing a bulk order of mulch to get it cheaply.

  1. Do the work.
  • One weekend at a time -- finish one section. That is cover it up with some sort of barrier then cover up with mulch. I am such a good citizen. Maintaining the garden appears like it's benefitting the landlord but doing the actual work and seeing the improvement I made to it is actually benefitting me and my family more than anyone one else.

It's so counter-intuitive but it really works well for me.

🌻 Just keep digging.
