This is the bloatware I've uninstalled/disabled from my phone, a Redmi Note 13 4G running Android 15/HyperOS 2, as of December 2024.

As you can see, it's quite minimal, as I try not to interfere with the system or essential functions.

I left com.xiaomi.joyose untouched, as the impact is minimal, and com.qti.qcc, which is a Qualcomm app for analytics, but I noticed that some games (like Monopoly GO) wouldn't start, so I left it, only removing com.qti.dcf.

Also, you must be noticed that uninstalling com.miui.daemon could disable Xiaomi Cloud SMS verification or another verification process, so be careful with this.

I performed this process using the Universal Android Debloater Next Generation app for Windows 10.

com.google.android.apps.turbo is gone since latest HyperOS updates and I keep com.miui.daemon because it's critic in some system apps or routines.

10/16/2025

Added com.android.stk to my customized list (it doesn't appear in the Recommended list). In most cases it's safe to disable/remove, but in very specific cases could cause issues with some apps (bank apps).

Why would you debloat com.android.contacts?

Why would you debloat com.android.contacts?

Hi, because it's the AOSP version and OEMs usually have similar packages, or they're are just useless. For Xiaomi's Global ROMs they include com.google.android.contacts (Google Contacts app).

Hi I'm new to this, but I'm doing my research, I have a poco x7 pro with Android 15/HyperOS 2, is it safe to uninstall google apps like chrome, photos, gemini, google one, google assistant, google tv?
Also is it safe to uninstall com.miui.bugreport and com.miui.extraphoto?

Hi.

I personally prefer to keep some Google system apps to avoid breaking some functionalities. For example, "uninstalling" com.android.chrome may break functionality for creating and storing passkeys. Google Photos, Gemini, One, Assistant, and TV are optional apps (except for Google Photos, which comes with the system, but it's safe to remove it according to the UAD list: https://github.com/Universal-Debloater-Alliance/universal-android-debloater-next-generation/blob/main/resources/assets/uad_lists.json).

com.miui.bugreport and com.miui.extraphoto are safe to "uninstall" (com.miui.extraphoto is supposed to help scan documents).

Thank you for this list, it's a good starting point
If I follow this list as it is, do you think I'm not at risk of breaking something or do you recommend me not touching something specific of the list?

My current list is this:
com.facebook.system
com.facebook.appmanager
com.facebook.services
com.miui.analytics
com.mi.globalminusscreen
com.xiaomi.payment
com.miui.videoplayer
com.miui.msa.global
com.miui.player
com.mi.globalbrowser
com.miui.yellowpage
com.xiaomi.simactivate.service
com.miui.miservice
com.tencent.soter.soterserver
com.google.android.apps.youtube.music

Also I read the documentation of the link you shared, about UAD, I was planning to use shizuku+canta, but UAD looks good, do you recommend using UAD over shizuku+canta?
IIRC if I do a factory reset all the apps I disabled will be restored, does this apply to both methods, canta or UAD?

You're welcome. Most of those apps are safe (recommended) to "uninstall". I use UAD-NG on my laptop because the GUI shows you a brief description of the apps and categorizes them based on whether they're recommended to "uninstall" or not.

And yes, when you do a factory reset, all of those apps will be restored again (the same happens when you do an OS upgrade on your device).
