Attention the original code eats your data !!
This git fixes a major flaw.
If your device size is not an exact multiple of your choosen blocksize the following happens:
orignal:
if res != SAME:
newblock = sys.stdin.read(blocksize)
f.seek(-blocksize, 1)
f.write(newblock)
fixed:
if res != SAME:
newblock = sys.stdin.read(blocksize)
f.seek(-len(newblock), 1)
f.write(newblock)
Further improvments:
It is very confusing if the program stops with 1450 of 1480 blocks transferred - I've spend two searching for the lost blocks - only the ouptput was wrong - the blocks were transferred
