I was at Amazon for about six and a half years, and now I've been at Google for that long. One thing that struck me immediately about the two companies -- an impression that has been reinforced almost daily -- is that Amazon does everything wrong, and Google does everything right. Requirements

Minikube requires that VT-x/AMD-v virtualization is enabled in BIOS. To check that this is enabled on OSX / macOS run:

sysctl -a | grep machdep.cpu.features | grep VMX

If there's output, you're good!

Prerequisites

A script that inspects the DNS TTL for a JVM in a supplied Docker image. The image must also contain a JDK.

It does this by generating a Docker image containing a Java program that outputs the JVM's DNS TTL and executing this, then cleaning up the container, image and temporary files.
