Why?

  • Gives you street cred, the ladies love it
  • Everything's reachable at a touch
  • Portable

How?

  1. Bash sucks from a developer standpoint
  2. Zsh is an evolution of Bash so it sucks, but less
  3. It's still worth knowing them, but "other shells and tools are not everywhere else" is no longer valid on 2024
  4. Modern-day Rust tooling is highly ergonomic
