Codex CLI 0.152.1 accepts an unbounded bracketed paste in the /agents rename field, appends it to the existing thread title, serializes the complete value into one thread/name/set WebSocket request, accepts the echoed thread/name/updated, and then can monopolize the TUI event/render loop.

A 1 MiB paste reproduced the full failure in 3/3 isolated runs. In every run:
