Running a full review of all four brand elements against the NeuroDiver Brand Kit. I'll cross-reference each against the kit's tone rules, do-say/don't-say list, brand personality, and positioning statement.

Summary

The four elements show strong strategic intent and real alignment with the brand's core identity. The personality attributes are solid. However, the Value Proposition conflates audience-facing copy with investor metrics, the Unique Differentiator is a bullet list rather than a statement, and the Tone Example carries a compliance risk that needs to be resolved before any public use.

Biggest strength: "Inside knowledge, not outside assumptions" — this phrase is distinctive, true, and on-brand. It should be protected and used consistently across all four elements.

Most important improvement: Strip investor metrics out of the customer-facing Value Proposition, and remove or qualify the "Only we" claim in the Tone Example.

Detailed Findings

# Issue Location Severity Notes
1 Gross margin figures (94% / 70–80%) embedded in Value Proposition Value Proposition High Investor data in customer-facing copy signals audience confusion. A prospect reading this doesn't care about margin; an investor will want the actual number, not the quoted one. These belong in a pitch deck, not a brand statement.
2 "Only we deliver" — unsubstantiated superlative Tone Example High A legal/compliance flag. "Only we" is a falsifiable exclusive claim. Are there truly zero other ND-founded productivity tools globally? This needs either hard evidence or a qualifier ("We may be the only..." or "No other platform in SEA...").
3 "CP-validated" acronym undefined Value Proposition & Unique Differentiator Medium CP could read as Clinical Psychology, Community Psychology, or Chartered Psychologist depending on the reader's background. Spell it out or replace with plain language ("independently validated by a clinical psychologist").
4 Value Proposition sentence structure is fragmented Value Proposition Medium "A productivity system that works with your natural wiring reducing friction, enabling flow, without requiring you to mask." — the three participial phrases feel appended, not integrated. Reads like a list was glued to a sentence.
5 "B2B pipeline with Petronas" as a differentiator Unique Differentiator Medium Pipeline = not yet closed. Naming a prospect publicly is risky (deal falls through, relationship changes). This is a proof point for investor conversations, not a brand differentiator. Replace with "B2B enterprise track" or wait until it's a confirmed partnership.
6 Positioning Statement omits the "masking" benefit Positioning Statement Medium The brand kit's positioning statement explicitly calls out "so they can do their best work without burning out or masking who they are." The submitted statement drops this — it's one of the most emotionally resonant and distinctive benefits.
7 "5-person team" in Unique Differentiator Unique Differentiator Low For B2C this might build scrappy-community credibility. For the B2B/enterprise track (Petronas, PERKESO), a 5-person team signals risk to procurement teams. Context-dependent, but worth noting.
8 Personality attributes lack behavioural definitions Personality and Tone Low Sharp, Warm, Credible, Community-driven, Empowering — these are the right words, but without "what it means / what it doesn't mean" definitions, different writers will interpret them differently. This is a documentation gap, not a concept problem.
9 "neurodivergent" in Tone Example Tone Example Low The brand kit says avoid specific diagnostic labels in copy. "Neurodivergent" is a community identity term rather than a clinical diagnosis, so it's borderline — the brand kit actually uses it in the hero and positioning box. In internal/strategic documents this is fine; monitor usage in external copy and consider "different thinkers" or "ND" for community-facing touchpoints.

Revised Sections

1. Value Proposition (High + Medium fixes)

Before:

A productivity system that works with your natural wiring reducing friction, enabling flow, without requiring you to mask. Built by ND founders with 200+ community interviews. Products: Strategy Deck (CP-validated), Body Doubling, Energy Tracker. Gross margin: 94% actual; 70–80% quoted to investors.

After (customer-facing version):

A productivity system that works with your natural wiring — reducing friction, enabling flow, and freeing you to stop masking. Built by ND founders with insights from 200+ community interviews. Products: Strategy Deck (clinically validated), Body Doubling, Energy Tracker.

After (investor-facing version, separate doc):

Same as above, followed by: Gross margin: 94% actual. Quoted to investors at 70–80% for conservative modelling.

The two should never appear in the same document unless that document is explicitly dual-purpose (e.g., an investor one-pager). The customer-facing version doesn't need a margin figure at all.

2. Positioning Statement (Medium fix)

Before:

For neurodivergent working adults, we are the productivity platform that works with your natural wiring because we were built by ND founders using inside knowledge from 200+ community interviews, not outside assumptions.

After:

For neurodivergent working adults, we are the productivity platform that works with your natural wiring — so you can do your best work without burning out or masking who you are — because we were built by ND founders using inside knowledge from 200+ community interviews, not outside assumptions.

The addition of the outcome clause ("so you can do your best work without burning out or masking") ties it directly to the brand kit's positioning box and makes the benefit explicit.

3. Unique Differentiator (Medium fix — restructure as a statement)

Before (bullet list):

ND-founded productivity system in Malaysia/SEA · 200+ interviews & 70 impact personas · CP-validated strategy deck · B2B pipeline with Petronas · NeuroDiver Workplace sub-identity for enterprise · 5-person team, 2 ND co-founders, lived experience

After (coherent statement + proof points):

NeuroDiver is the only ND-founded productivity system built in Malaysia and Southeast Asia — designed entirely from 200+ community interviews and 70 impact personas, not outside assumptions. Our products are clinically validated. Our enterprise track, NeuroDiver Workplace, brings this inside knowledge directly to organisations.

Proof points (for pitch decks, not brand copy):

  • 2 ND co-founders, 5-person founding team
  • 200+ community interviews · 70 impact personas
  • Clinically validated Strategy Deck
  • B2B enterprise track (NeuroDiver Workplace)

4. Tone Example — "Only we" fix (High fix)

Before:

"Only we deliver productivity tools co-created by 200+ neurodivergent adults, founded by neurodivergent leaders — inside knowledge, not outside assumptions."

After (Option A — qualified claim, still strong):

"No productivity platform in Southeast Asia was built this way: co-created with 200+ ND adults, founded by ND leaders. Inside knowledge, not outside assumptions."

After (Option B — drop the exclusive claim, lean into specificity):

"Two hundred community interviews. Two ND founders. One platform built from the inside out — not guesswork about how different minds work."

Option A works better for investor pitches and B2B contexts (authoritative, regional claim is defensible). Option B works better for community and B2C (warm, specific, trust-building). Both are on-brand.

Legal / Compliance Flags

Flag Location Recommended Action
"Only we deliver" — exclusive claim Tone Example Remove or qualify before any public use. See revised options above.
Gross margin figures in customer-facing copy Value Proposition Move to investor-only materials. Treat as confidential.
"CP-validated" — undefined acronym VP + Differentiator Spell out as "clinically validated" or "validated by a clinical psychologist" in all public copy.
"B2B pipeline with Petronas" — unconfirmed prospect named Unique Differentiator Remove from any public-facing brand materials until deal is confirmed.

Overall Verdict by Element

Element Status Action
Value Proposition Needs adjustment Separate customer and investor versions; fix sentence flow; define "CP-validated"
Positioning Statement Minor adjustment Add the masking/burnout outcome clause — everything else holds
Unique Differentiator Needs rework Restructure as a statement; separate proof points from brand copy; remove pipeline claim
Personality & Tone (attributes) Good to go Sharp, Warm, Credible, Community-driven, Empowering are right — document them properly
Tone Example Needs adjustment Fix or replace the "Only we" claim before any external use

Would you like me to:

  1. Apply all revisions and produce a clean updated version of all four elements?
  2. Focus only on the high-severity fixes (VP investor/customer split + "Only we" removal)?
  3. Build out the personality attribute definitions (what each of the 5 traits means in practice and doesn't mean) to lock in consistent voice across writers?
  4. Review additional brand content (e.g., social copy, pitch deck slides) against these same standards?
Here's the synthesised content — best from both outputs, clean and ready to use.

## 5. Brand Voice Example
*(Homepage, first body section)*
Different thinkers don't need fixing. They need tools that stop fighting them.
NeuroDiver is built for the way your mind actually moves — the hyperfocus and the crashes, the deep runs and the dead starts, the days when you're unstoppable and the ones when getting started feels like climbing something invisible.
We built this from the inside. Not consultants, not researchers with clipboards. People who work the same way you do, who got tired of every tool assuming one kind of mind.
Strategy Deck. Body Doubling. Energy Tracker. Three tools, one system, built around your wiring.
*Work with it.*

**Non-negotiable founding statement** (not a tagline — lives in everything):
> "Built by ND, for ND."

Working purely from the brand kit. Setting aside everything from earlier in this conversation. Here's what I'd derive cold, as a strategist handed only that document.

NeuroDiver — Brand Strategy Brief

Derived from Brand Kit v1.0

01. Value Proposition

The kit's clearest signal is what it refuses to do: it never calls anything a "fix," never names a diagnosis, never frames the user as someone to be corrected. That tells me the value proposition isn't about solving a problem — it's about recognising a person.

The three products (Strategy Deck, Body Doubling, Energy Tracker) map precisely onto the three deepest friction points for neurodivergent working adults: starting, sustaining, and protecting capacity. That's not an accident. That's a product philosophy.

Proposed Value Proposition:

NeuroDiver is a complete productivity system built around how different minds actually work. Where other tools create friction, NeuroDiver creates flow — giving you the structure to start, the support to sustain, and the awareness to protect your energy. No masking required.

Why this works against the kit:

  • "Complete system" signals depth without listing features
  • "Friction / flow" contrast echoes the brand's core language verbatim
  • The three middle clauses map directly to the three products without naming them
  • "No masking required" is the emotional payoff — direct, validating, empowering

02. Positioning Statement

The kit's most important strategic line isn't in the positioning box — it's tucked in the B2B section: "inside knowledge, not outside assumptions." That's the sharpest competitive wedge in the entire document. It should be the spine of the positioning statement.

Proposed Positioning Statement:

For neurodivergent working adults, NeuroDiver is the productivity platform that works with your natural wiring — because it was built by people who share it. Not designed from the outside looking in. Built from the inside out.

Structural logic:

  • For [who] — earns attention before the product is even named
  • works with your natural wiring — the kit's own core language, consistent throughout
  • people who share it — implies ND founders without the compliance risk of the explicit claim
  • The contrast (outside in / inside out) is a single memorable image that encodes the entire differentiator

03. Unique Differentiator

Most brands in this space would list features. The kit tells me NeuroDiver's differentiator isn't a feature — it's an epistemological position. The question isn't what they built. It's how they know what to build.

Proposed Unique Differentiator:

NeuroDiver's tools weren't designed for neurodivergent people. They were designed by them — ND founders, with inside knowledge from the community the platform serves. In a space full of well-meaning outsider guesses, that's not a detail. It's the whole point.

Secondary differentiators (proof points, not headline claims):

  • Southeast Asia's first ND-founded productivity platform
  • Full-system coverage: initiation, energy, communication, change, strengths
  • B2C and enterprise track (NeuroDiver Workplace) under one brand architecture

Why the kit supports this framing:

The "Built by ND, for ND" statement is designated non-negotiable. The non-negotiable isn't the tagline — it's the trust signal. That tells me the differentiator is foundational, not campaign-level.

04. Personality and Tone

The kit names the archetype clearly: The Brilliant Ally. Sage + Caregiver. The brand persona description — "the smartest person in the room who never makes you feel like the least smart" — is the most precise brief I've seen in a brand kit. Everything else follows from that.

Five core attributes, defined behaviourally:

Sharp We think fast and speak precisely. Every word does work. We don't hedge, qualify, or over-explain. We respect your bandwidth. Sounds like: "Your tank is running low. Time to protect your energy, not push through it." Doesn't sound like: "We hope this gentle reminder finds you well and serves as a helpful nudge..."

Warm Genuinely invested. Not performing care — actually invested in the person reading this. The brand likes you and isn't hiding it. Sounds like: "You don't need to think differently about yourself. We've already done that for the tools." Doesn't sound like: "We understand that navigating a neurodiverse workspace can present challenges."

Credible Authority from lived experience, not research distance. We cite community knowledge, not clinical literature. Confidence without arrogance. Sounds like: "Built by us, for us." Doesn't sound like: "Studies show that individuals with executive function differences benefit from..."

Grounded Real talk, no toxic positivity. We acknowledge difficulty without dramatising it. We move immediately from acknowledgement to capability. Sounds like: "Some tasks need a witness." (acknowledges the truth, doesn't wring it out) Doesn't sound like: "We know how hard things can be — but you're stronger than you think!"

Empowering Every piece of communication lands on capability, not limitation. We talk about what you can do, build, navigate, and create. The user leaves every interaction feeling more able. Sounds like: "Feel the momentum shift." Doesn't sound like: "Helps manage the challenges of task initiation and executive dysfunction."

05. Brand Voice Example

A demonstration piece that uses all five attributes simultaneously. Written for the homepage, post-hero, first body section:

Different thinkers don't need fixing. They need tools that stop fighting them.

NeuroDiver is built for the way your mind actually moves — the hyperfocus and the crashes, the deep runs and the dead starts, the days when you're unstoppable and the ones when getting started feels like climbing something invisible.

We built this from the inside. Not consultants, not researchers with clipboards. People who work the same way you do, who got tired of every tool assuming one kind of mind.

Strategy Deck. Body Doubling. Energy Tracker. Three tools, one system, built around your wiring.

Work with it.

What this example demonstrates:

  • Sharp — short declarative sentences, no hedging, punchy close
  • Warm — "the days when you're unstoppable" — sees the whole person, not just the friction
  • Credible — "from the inside" signals founder authority without the compliance risk of a superlative claim
  • Grounded — names the real texture of neurodivergent work without dramatising it
  • Empowering — three products named, system framed, closes on agency ("Work with it" mirrors "Work with your wiring")

A Note on What the Kit Gets Right

Most brand kits over-specify visual rules and under-specify the why. This one does the opposite. The do/don't language list, the non-negotiable founding statement, the persona description as a person rather than an attribute grid — these are signs of a brand built by people who understand their audience from the inside.

The strategic risk I'd flag: the Inside/Outside differentiation is the brand's sharpest edge, but it's currently distributed across the kit rather than concentrated at the front. Every one of these five elements I've derived should be explicitly pulling on that single thread. When they all do, the brand becomes very hard to copy — because you can match features, but you can't fake provenance.

DONE.
