Some scientists seek to clarify reality, others to mystify it. David Bohm seemed driven by both impulses. He is renowned for promoting a sensible (according to Einstein and other experts) interpretation of quantum mechanics. But Bohm also asserted that science can never fully explain the world, and his 1980 book Wholeness and the Implicate Order delved into spirituality. Bohm’s interpretation of quantum mechanics has attracted increasing attention lately. He is a hero of Adam Becker’s new book What Is Real? The Unfinished Quest for the Meaning of Quantum Mechanics (reviewed by James Gleick, David Albert and Peter Woit). In The End of Science I tried to make sense of this paradoxical truth-seeker, who died in 1992 at the age of 74. Below is an edited version of that profile. See also my recent post on another quantum visionary, John Wheeler. –John Horgan
In August 1992 I visited David Bohm at his home in a London suburb. His skin was alarmingly pale, especially in contrast to his purplis

ATT Needs a to test with video streaming as the main test. If the connection cannot maintain a 1300kbps stream for an hour. We have issues. Lets help build a simuternet for ATT corporate to understand his role in sales and planning of systems, interfaces, devices, labor, costs, and pricing. Id like to simulate also, 3 att repair technicans. I want to build agape, freedom technology for each tech and for Corban. Lets list 5 of the mos impor

wat u think about js vs python and narciism in programming and compare each lagnague the amount of information online and ease of use, community integreation packages, and so on

When comparing JavaScript and Python, it's important to consider various factors such as ease of use, community support, available packages, and online resources. Additionally, the aspect of "narcissism" in programming, which could refer to the strong preferences and biases programmers often have towards certain languages, is an interesting point to consider. Let's break down these aspects for both languages:
JavaScript
Ease of Use: JavaScript is primarily known for its role in web development. It's essential for front-end development and has a syntax that can be more challenging for beginners compared to Python. However, its ubiquity in web development makes it a crucial language to learn.
