- The ability to modify geometric networks. Nearly every gis asset we maintain is participating in a geometric network, so this is a must have.
- The ability to add annotations to a map. Word is, this is coming in 2.0, so we'll see.
- An efficient data managing interface, like ArcCatalog is not present. I regularly use the plethora of tools built into ArcCatalog and ArcMap. This includes the ability to create new datasets, networks, etc but also the management tools like Import/Export, Administration, Distributed Database, Share As... etc.
- ArcGIS Pro is missing the ability to publish layers directly to server. This enforces a requirement of using Portal federated with ArcGIS server just to publish new data to ArcGIS Server
- Pro is also unable to publish any geoprocessing service to a server, without a Portal. While data can be published to ArcGIS Online, tools may not and ultimately require Portal
ArcGIS Pro is still new so lots of extensions don't work with it yet. But hopefully the following will be coming soon:
- Trimble Positions Extension - Software to export data to Trimble devices, manage projects, and import and correct GNSS data
- Attributes Assistant - Software to eliminate repetitive data entry tasks and provide automated data quality assurance
Yes, it is a real bummer for me too.
