Small victories. I don't need big wins all the time, but it is helpful to get some wins on the board on my way to the final goal of obtaining a job.
I know that rejection is going to be a part of it and it will undoubtedly be hard, but I need a job and I will go until I get one. Probably some help from Jun though, too.
How will you hold yourself accountable to your plans? (Ex: Attend Mod 5, meet with cohortmates, attend Kayt's coffee shop hours, etc.)
Treat them as mandatory. I also need to do a good job of reaching out and keeping in touch so that other people become invested in my success.
I communicate in person the best. After that, I prefer Slack.
I am not super idealistic. I would take the first offer that was $75,000, within a 45 minute commute, had some onboarding process/valued employee enrichment.
I got to the second round of an interview, but then they ghosted me. I could not deal with that and Mod4. So I put that on the back burner.
Organization. I am usually very good at interviews, but I am not awesome at keeping all of the information organized.
Not necessarily. I'm kinda serious about that "Jun" comment above- I usually get depressed around unstuctured time and rejection isn't a nice combo. I don't know if that is exactly what you mean, but.. it's the truth. Otherwise, hahaha, Thank you and I appreciate the help!
If you are not using Huntr, please include a link here to the job tracker you're using so that Kayt can follow along with your progress.
I will be using Huntr, but it is not super active as of right now.
