Liberal Regex Pattern for Web URLs

The regex patterns in this gist are intended only to match web URLs -- http,
https, and naked domains like "example.com". For a pattern that attempts to

I noticed a typo in the multi-line version: in the list of TLDs there is | Ja| (with whitespace). In the single-line version there is no white space. I'm also not sure if Ja would be a correct TLD.
