I have gotten most of these issues resolved, although I am still working on some others... take a gander over at http://joelperryproductions.com I have a tutorial for setting up Ubuntu 10.10 in a VMware VM, or 10.04 in a VirtualBox VM, to run Appcelerator's Titanium, as resolving most of the bugs in their software will trash your OS and keep you from doing anything else with it. I also have posted some fixes, which at least get the program running and your Android Emulators to work. I am about to post a second "fixes" post to resolve more issues; however the program is running without resolving all of those... I have been googling for over a year to find resolutions to these problems and have failed at finding useful information, which is why I made those posts on my site. I have even found posts on the Appcelerator support site dating as far back as 2008 with not even a comment in them to help the user out.
I guess this is the level of support you get from a company that only uses Mac OS X.
