This is a compilation of tools I'll use while trying to learn Swedish - without going to formal classes. This is not a recommendation but more of a way to use what I had available from before.
-
Swedish dictionary for Kindle Since I already had a Kindle device.
-
Paper books in "lättläst" I had from before: Kungsgatan, by Ivar-Lo Johansson. I treat as a working book, full of notes, meant to be consumed and likely not read by a second person. Bedetime reading.
-
Lättlast nyheter: news in simplified Swedish.
- https://8sidor.se/ Only text, there is a screen reader on each page, which is a bit robotic. Good for focusing on the reading and have time to translate, read about certain words. Not so good for the hearing practice.
