365 Discipleship is a daily devotional app. Reading the daily content does not require an account. Your reading progress and preferences are stored only on your device. We do not sell your data or show third-party ads, and we do not use any analytics or advertising tracking SDKs.
Reading progress and preferences (on-device only). The app stores your current day, completed readings, your daily reminder time, and text-size preference in a local database on your device. This information is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and is deleted if you uninstall the app.
Devotional content sync. The app downloads daily devotional content from our backend (Supabase) so it can be read offline. This is a one-way, read-only request — it does not send any personal or device-identifying information, and no user account is created or required to read content in the app.
Crash and error reports. On Android release builds, we use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and error logs so we can fix bugs. This may include device model, OS version, app version, and diagnostic information about the crash (see Firebase's own privacy documentation for what it collects on our behalf). Crashlytics is not enabled in development builds.
Notifications. If you enable the daily reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device using your device's notification system. We do not receive a push token and cannot send you notifications remotely — the reminder never leaves your device.
Admin/content-management accounts. A small number of website accounts exist for the people who write and publish the daily content. Those accounts require an email address and password, handled by our backend provider (Supabase) with securely hashed passwords. This does not apply to app readers.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We do not require an account to read daily content.
- We do not have access to the reading progress stored on your device — it is not synced to us.
We use the following third-party service providers, each of whom processes limited data as described above under their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Crashlytics) — crash and error reporting on Android. Firebase privacy documentation.
- Supabase — hosts the devotional content database and admin authentication. Supabase privacy policy.
365 Discipleship is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
On-device data (reading progress, preferences) is removed when you uninstall the app. Admin account data is retained until the account is deleted by request. Crash reports are retained by Firebase according to its own retention policy.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
