Keeps you honest. Today was a hard day to make happen. But I didn't want to start over. I made it happen.

Today's theme music http://grooveshark.com/#/album/Pickin+On+Pink+Floyd+A+Bluegrass+Tribute/2989834

Again, not a huge amount of code, but it's something.

One caveat to this project, that I'm finding: just writing code doesn't cut it. It has to be code I can commit. For me this is complicated by how reluctant I am to publish code publicly unless I feel it's "ready". I did quite a lot of work on several OSS projects today that I wasn't ready to push public.

I'm back to the closure/clojurescript demos. small easily definable goals. I don't know what I'll do when I run out of them :)

If I pull this off there will certainly be a blog post out of it.

Cool!

As for what to do when you run out of demos, I doubt you'll have much trouble. :) But one of the things I very intentionally designed into the game was the inclusion of wiki edits as qualifying commits. I find writing down my plans to be an extremely effective tool for clarifying and improving my thinking. Indeed, Rich recommends it in the "hammock talk". So if you don't mind a suggestion, if you're ever at a loss, open up a fresh wiki page and just start writing down ideas.

I'm doing well, but if I screw up again I'm thinking about changing the rules. Maybe an exponential penalty: 2 points off for one day missed, 4 for two in a row, etc.

Yep. Changed the rules.
