Project: Cross-Pollination - Pitch Battles
Group Member Names: Kevin Simpson, Dylan Meskis, Haley Jacobs
Project Expectations: What does each group member hope to get out of this project?
Haley - A better understanding of the backend, solidifying React, beginning to work with TypeScript
Dylan - Work with front end to get a better understanding of front end process, improve Git workflow, utilize caching and background jobs where applicable
Kevin - Solidify animation in React, improve router implementation, incorporate rebase (maybe TypeScript/PWA)
Goals and expectations:
Goals - Spotlight on resume, create a very useful app for music teachers, wow factor
Expectation - revisit DTR every Wednesday
Team strengths:
React, front end testing, JavaScript, knowledge of end users needs, building API's, consuming API's
How to overcome obstacles:
Making it very clear what endpoints we need, making detailed plans, being patient with each other, reach out when needed
Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually?):
Working at Turing mostly, unless the team plans otherwise.
Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open?):
Slack private channel & messaging, Trello, face to face
Abilities Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):
Kevin - Comfortable utilizing React with animations, API consumption, state management, asynchronous set timeouts
Dylan - Git workflow (rebasing), caching and background workers
Haley - React, testing front end, JavaScript, CSS, Git workflow
Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):
Kevin - Game logic and animation, design
Dylan - Schema design, API building, testing backend
Haley - Account management, API consumption, design
Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests):
Rebase with atomic commits, file issues, PR template

Christmas Break:
Kevin - get game logic done, set up router, start working api calls with testing
Haley - student dash (when user login, entire suite of data is brought down) and student account front end, api calls (post requests and such). Then teacher dashboard, and class page layout (same for teachers and students, but teachers have the ability to delete a student)
Dylan - finish all endpoints, tweak as needed, look into extendsions
