Combine the tools of good oral hygiene with a puzzle-like app with TEETHING by William Robinson. This game has you navigating your tooth between falling sweets, testing your reflexes as you go. Watch out, because if you make contact with your arch nemesis, aka sugar, your tooth will dissolve. Not to worry though, if this happens toothpaste will save the day and bring back the health of your tooth. The app is not one of the slick graphics-heavy ones like so many out there today. It was created to look and feel like an old-school eight-bit video game. This was further achieved by using only one scene. Even though it’s definitely a throw-back in the looks department, it packs a punch by being very fast-paced. You get to maneuver this tooth through someone’s mouth for as long as you’re able to sidestep those sweets.

Along the way you’ll be able to gain power ups from the magical tooth fairy that allow you to slow down time, shrink your tooth down to baby tooth size, turn sweets into coins, and even become invincible. For each sweet you manage to miss, you earn one coin that you can use on some very eccentric and crazy looking mous You can use tilt controls if you opt not to use buttons. The game is optimized for retina display; has game play that is fast paced, fun and addictive; offers eight-bit sounds and pixelated graphics; and has music that actually changes as you play and go along. The music itself uses chip tunes to help take you back to those old-school ones you knew and loved.taches.

A great thing about this app is that because it’s easy to understand, follow, and play, both adults and kids can play.
