Privacy Policy for QWEM3 TTS Studio
Last Updated: March 20, 2026
1. Local-First AI Processing
QWEM3 TTS Studio is designed with a "Local-First" architecture.
Audio Synthesis: All AI voice generation is performed locally on your hardware.
Voice Cloning: Any audio you record or upload for cloning remains on your local storage and is never transmitted to our servers.
Data Storage: Your voice library and generated files are stored in your local "Documents" folder.
2. Anonymous Telemetry & Crash Reporting (Opt-In)
To help us improve the stability and performance of the application across different hardware (AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA), the app includes an optional telemetry system.
Opt-In Only: This feature is disabled by default. You must explicitly enable it in the "Settings" menu.
Information Collected: If enabled, the app sends anonymous technical data including crash tracebacks (errors), device GPU/CPU models, and feature usage statistics.
*Purpose: This data is used solely for debugging and optimizing the AI engine. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information (PII).
3. Third-Party Services
We use Microsoft Azure Application Insights to process anonymous technical telemetry. No other third-party trackers or advertising SDKs are included in this application.
4. Permissions
Microphone: Used only when you choose to record a sample for Voice Cloning. Audio is processed locally.
File System: Used to save your generated audio and manage your voice library.
5. Contact
