How can I install it as a service, so that I don't need to run ./bin/startup.sh command each time?

Well you can create a runnable scipt in init.d as following :
cat >> /etc/init.d/geoserver
# then paste what comes at the end on the comment
# then CTRL + D
chmod +x /etc/init.d/geoserver
update-rc.d geoserver defaults
service geoserver start
And then the content of /etc/init.d/geoserver file :
#!/bin/sh
### BEGIN INIT INFO

You can set up a reverse proxy with a webserver like nginx or caddy. Just make sure to configure CSRF for your domain.
Thank you , i used tomcat and deployed certificates
